SEPTEMBER 19

Tues Cole (R) doesn’t seem to think that papier mache will work – but he still is interested however. Worked on foot ball posters…

Thurs Dammit! I knew it. Eleanor didn’t come after all; Dad came back too late… I should have done something instead of just fooling around this evening!

Fri 10:30 “Techniques” had water-colors outside today – even if it was windy – I enjoy it so much. Went to Mr. Lee’s class – Wasted this aft. washed clothes tonight – D.J. + I went riding for a while

SAT MAYBE I’M CRAZY, BUT I TURNED DOWN DAYTON’S… I WAS INSULTED AT $22.50 A WEEK! I MIGHT FIGURE IT WAS WORTH IT, IF I COULD DO WHAT I WAS CRAZY ABOUT IT – CUT out A RED DRESS. BOB B. WAS HERE

SUN. SARA + JANE PUT ME ON THE TRAIN… THIS IS AWFUL. FEEL DESPERATELY INTROVERTED, VERY SAD. SO LONESOME… I WASHED MY HAIR THIS MORNING WHILE S + J WERE AT CHURCH – I FEEL NOTHING. CARE FOR NOTHING. EVERYTHING IS MECHANICAL, AUTOMATIC.
